An elegant and fun Tuscan style restaurant located in sunny New Smyrna, FL. Open 364 days a year! First come, first serve with no reservations accepted. Excellent chefs that prepare top cut beef in an 800° wood-fired stove that perfectly sear your steak to perfection! Great atmosphere with live entertainment nightly. A truly Unique Hidden Gem that rates as one of my favorite places to enjoy a wonderful meal and drink! Cheers!

Nothing like working a long day and just wanting a relaxed atmosphere to grab some good food and a cold brew. Well if you’re in Manassas, Virginia you get just that at CJ Finz! A great menu focusing on fresh seafood and local brews. It proudly boasts a rooftop deck over looking Old Towne Manassas. Family owned and friendly staff make this an easy pick to be a Unique Hidden Gem! The oysters and she-crab soup were on point! Cheers!!

It’s easy to walk by a few restaurants on N. Aurora St. in downtown Ithaca. There’s a blend of comfortable patio seating and nicer upscale bars and restaurants. I found this Unique Hidden Gem in 2024 and have made sure I stop in each time I travel through. A welcoming bartender makes you feel at home as you await a tasty appetizer or your main course. Lobster and Crab Pot Pie is absolutely on point! Sit down, relax, and enjoy an extra dirty martini that they claim is filthy and enjoy your evening! Cheers!!

Plainville, Connecticut. Sounds about as ho-hum as you can get. Finding a Unique Hidden Gem is easy to do when the town folk all talk about J. Timothy’s Tavern. Original building from 1789 with a rich story on it’s development into a great place to gather at. Three stories of old wooden plank floors and bricks that hold stories and tales of yesteryear. Known as the originator of the Dirt Wing, they serve over 300 thousand pounds of wings annually! An amazing process and flavor to obtain that extra crispy texture we all crave. Expect a short wait no matter the day of the week you choose to go. A local favorite, a visitor’s favorite, and one of the oldest establishments one can find! Cheers!
